ALPS awards Scholarship

The 2024 recipient of the Geraldine Brasher Phemister Scholarship recipient is Christian Van Son, a graduating senior at Atascadero High School. Christian will be attending Cuesta College this semester and plans to be there for the next two years while continuing to work part-time. While at Cuesta he will be participating in an intern program with the California Conservation Corp.

After Cuesta College Christian plans to attend California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. Christian is striving to work for the Forest Service in Environmental conservation and restoration.
