Workday at Bill Shepard Native Garden/Stadium Lane

May 11, 2024

A dozen ALPS Volunteers came out to help do some maintenance at the Bill Shepard Native Garden at the entrance to Stadium Park.  The garden looks great after a great workday by some great volunteers!

The volunteers got the following chores completed:

- Weeded the garden and surrounding area

- Trimmed the many bushes and trees within the garden

There was a lot of overgrown grass and weeds, so the volunteers also:

- Weed-eated the entrance and roadway to the garden

- Weed-eated the ALPS Trial and the Marj Mackey trail

Thanks to the great volunteers that came out to make the entrance to Stadium Park look great again!
