Workday at the Carmelita Planting Site

An entusiastic group of volunteers came out to help give the 40 oak saplings some love and care.  They weeded around the base of the trees, then applied a nice layer of wood chips/mulch, and finished up by ensuring the browse protection cages were firmly in place.  Some volunteers also cut back the fallen sycamore tree branches that had encroached around an oak sapling.
