Trail Crew work at Three Bridges Oak Preserve

Nine volunteers came out to perfomr maintenace at Three Bridges Oak Preserve.  The Trail Crew broke up into two groups.

One group hiked the trail system and cut back the trees and brush along the trails so the trail system would be more enjoyable for hikers. 

The other group focussed on the trailhead fixing water basins around the planted oak trees and correcting some erosion problems caused by the heavy winter rains and squirrel holes.  The basins are important because we water these trees throughout the summer and want the water to stay around the tree where is will do the most good.
