ALPS Dances!

ALPS was selected to participate in the 2017 edition of Atascadero Dancing With Our Stars! Bruce Bonifas’ excellent application was judged by the Board of Directors of the Atascadero Friends of the Library as demonstrating ALPS’ record of significant support of the new library. Bruce danced an energetic “Country Two-Step” with his choreographer and dance partner Laura Slania. Bruce was costumed in prison garb for the dance routine, and several people were heard to remark how good he looked in it. his event raised more than $16,000 for ALPS, by far our most successful fundraiser! 2017 continues to be a momentous year for ALPS with the anticipated June opening of hiking, cycling and equestrian trails at the Three Bridges Oak Preserve and Bruce’s performance at the DWOS fundraiser. This is a perfect time to become an ALPS member!
